I was thinking about doing that same thing, but i decided to go with the apr chip instead, the boost contoller is 250, for 150 more you can have your ecu remapped AND have your boost turned up. Im spiking around 17 or 18psi.

You will need to have control over the MAF and fuel regulator, at the very least, if you go with a boost controller. If you get the chip, everything is done - remapping of the ecu will control all of these issues and more.

Get an apexi S-afc and a Greddy Profec-B boost controller and you can do whatever you want to.

I'm sure your affection is genuine, but I/we need to be better informed with objective data. You may have valid points about their advantages, but until you explain in greater detail, I will continue to doubt the validity of your claims. No hard feelings, though.

APR and GIAC are the most reputable and the most popular of all the chip makers on the market. That isn't to say that Neuspeed doesn't make a good chip. They do! Besides... you might get a price break for keeping it "all in the family" - just a thought.
It is best to choose a chip based on the tuners in your area. If there is a reputable tuner in your area that installs/services chips by any one of the reputable makers, then it is best to go with whichever chip they use. It is always best to have a local tuner who knows and services the chip in your car, should anything ever go wrong. It's a lot more of a headache if you have to travel an enormous distance or do everything by mail.

In addition to the words of wisdom from imolas4 I would think that you would be able to get the most out of your performance products if you kept the same manufacturer. Ex neuspeed chip, neuspeed exhaust, neuspeed intake etc...
