A4 Xenon Conversion Kit
Hello from Hellas (Greece).
I have an Audi A4 8E manufactured on 2003. I decide to upgrade my halogen lamps with xenon HID kit. Can you propose me any kit? I am looking the vvme's (www.vvm.com) hid kit. Anybody fit it on his car?
Thank you

yasou filo! tekanis?
i have an 04 a4... does yours have the projector lense in them? and you are wanting the HID kit? i just did this conversion last weekend... however i used an OEM kit from akinaboy on www.audizine.com its a little more $ than the VVME kit but the ballast mounts in the OEM location and u just dremel a hole for the power wires... akinaboy's kit is used parts which i didnt know but i really liked how easy it was to install plus its all OEM...
i used 6000k bulbs.. they have lower output than my regular bulbs but they reflect on everything and have a great bluish tint to them... they are slightly ricey.. anything above 6000k is going to be purplish.... but to each his own!

well, yes, they are crazy bright but not in the same sense.... i think lumens are lower but look is certainly brighter... it could be the tint on my car too.. i have dark stuff plus windshield
i was mainly wanting to make the point that as you go up in kelvins as well all know, your lights will be more blue/purple but not as bright as a 4300k lets say
to me 6000k was a good compromise of the blue look i wanted and still good output... 8000k-10000k are too blue/ricey and annoying to other drivers for me...but they make different kinds for different people
im sure like a test pipe or straight pipes no one will ever stop you and give u a ticket for it except in cali maybe
