I counldn't find a good keyword that would give me beneficial results. What would it take for an '01 or '02 A4 to hang with a stage 2 or 2+ (chipped, downpipe, catback). I was looking at the S4's but maybe an A4 would do what I am looking for. Would I want to look at the 1.8T or 3.0 and how much would it cost to get it up around 320-335 hp. What parts would I need?

go for a 99.5 a4, go with a bt, fmic, exhaust.

elim turbo i think can get you up to 300awhp

look at upwards of 6k in mods

 

and a are completly different body styles both will need a BT upgrade to keep up with a stg S4

either way say

BT $3500 to $5000
FMIC $1000
exhaust $1000
ctutch $1000

 

Ok guys, thanks for the quick responses. I think I will stick with the S4, to much money in mods needed for the A4.

 

trust me if you think this is to much stay away from a S4 as modding this can be twice as expensive and repairs can be pretty pricey as well
