a4 v6 30v cam seal replacement
Recently replaced my valve cover gaskets thinking it would cure the oil leaking onto the exhaust manifolds. My thinking appears to be about half right; The remaining leak seems to be coming from the rear cam seals, especially on the passenger side. Has anybody done this on their own (replacing the cam seals)?
Is this a job for a skilled (but impatient) do-it-your-selfer with lower back problems, and little enthusiasm for jobs with minimal working clearances (but doesn't want to spend big bucks at a dealer, either)?
Any help, advice, general observations, thoughts, reflective thinking, or lectures, name calling, etc. will be read fully, and much appreciated!
