I know. I shouldn't have done it to my car either. The liquid nails didn't work either and only further jacked-up my car's roof. Welp....lessons learned.

I'm going to do it right this time. I've got my friend's nail gun. I'm going to drive some large nails through the holes in the hitch and through the roof. Then I'll get on the inside and use a hammer to bend the nails. That way the hitch will stay on for sure.

West Coast Customs should hire me.

 

when shooting the nails through the roof, always rember to keep ur hand on the inside of the car on the roof. Just to make sure they go in all the way.

 

I'll give that a whirl. Haven't heard of that technique before, but seems sound. If it works, I'm hooking up a fifth wheel and heading for the hills this weekend.

 

Don't hold your hand, have a friend hold his hand... That will ensure that you stay friends forever... Or even better (not right), have a wife or a girl-friend hold her hand... She'd love you forever.
