My friend leased one, very nice car with gobs of power, but I would rather have my 2.0. The Audi interior alone would make the decision for me.

Listen I love my a4 but my personal favorite cars are STI's and EVO's, if I could ever get a 04 sti with 43K on it for $9,000 I would try to sell my a4 in a heartbeat to get that. I know some people will not agree with me but everyone has their own oppinion and I would probably have taken the STI over a A4 for that deal.
Im not a huge fan of the STI, but I know a damn good deal/steal when I see one. You would have to be crazy not to buy it at that price.

im not a fan of the Sti either, I would rather have an EVO, but I would rather have an S4 over both!

I worked for Subaru for a year and I can say with out a doubt in my mind go with the a4. You will have nothing but problems with the Sti. Yes they are fast as no get out and handle great but just are not made very well at all!

i'll agree with you on the awd. it comes close but lets add 1k lbs to a suby and see how well it handles. quattro is still superior

but you have GOT to be kidding me on the tranny. they are POS's. throw a BT on a suby and i'll laugh when you blow the tranny. stock a4 trannies can hold a LOT of power.

lmao. but that obviously wasnt a stock STI, most likley had an upgraded clutch. the retard started it cold turkey, reved it up to 6k, and compleetly dropped the clutch. didnt slip it, jsut dropped it. and by the inteligenc of those guys, id guess it isnt the first time. do that to your car once a month and see what happens.

sti's sound soooooooooo good

BUT

with the audi, youll never have to replace the trasmission.........because you will never make enough horse power and torque to do it.

howbout get an s4[sm=badbadbad.gif] 2.7 twin turbo, chip that monster line up with the sti np and im sure the price of the sti should be close to the s4's 2000-2002
