Talking i too am having this dilemma

I have an A4 shell sitting there waiting and now i have 2.7t motor sitting there, i've owned two a4's until now and i like them when the upgrades are done but this freaking 2.7t motor is in a league of its own, i mean just a tune makes it ridiculous and then upgrade to the k04's ughhh makes me drool, so my question is this ... If i have the necessary parts already (which I do) can i just drop the 2.7t motor in the shell of an A4 that previously had the 2.8 motor in it? or would i have to modify engine supports and or chassis in anyway? cuz id just replace the tranny ecu and the main ecu with an S4's and should be good to go from what im thinking but Id really like to hear what all is necessary from someone who has some experience with this

just having a motor and tranny aren't all that is needed.... the spedo and other bits are different....

it'd be cheaper inless you have all the bits necessary too, to sell the motor and buy an a4 motor
