Yes that is how they install them. The double sided 3M tape is very strong. I think I would have a lot of trouble if I tried to rip mine off.

hey jest, is the b5 spoiler they are sellng legit? is it like any other regular m3 spoiler? i cant see quite well from the pic.

looks good....for those of you wondering about the fitment, that's how they all are...i have yet to find a lip spoiler that fits the trunk perfectly from end to end......jest, was yours shaped correctly or did you have to tweak it to get the curve right?

The lip spoiler from Spoiler Depot fills the space between seams with less than 1/4" on each side showing. The tape has held up well so far - 1.5 years and no problems.

the spoiler depot one is a little bigger than the ebay one...i think i prefer the look of the smaller M3 lip personally
