if u can beat a g35 wid ur car then the g35 driver must be a rich grandma hunched over the wheel. i actualy saw that one time, but she wasn't a grandma. she was basically lying on her wheel going 35 on a 45. she was also squinting with her mouth halfway open. it was a sight for soar eyes.

I will add the driver was a spoiled rich 16 yr old.. met up with him tonight after the other night. His dad bought him that and he was braggin about how its still not broken in yet so he couldnt get on it.. i asked him how many miles he has on it he said 50k.. i laughed. I really didnt buy the car for street-racing/strait line. Love the twisty's and I wanted a car with a beautiful/comfortable interior with class. I know it aint that fast but its getting there.

Exactly And let's face it, some people here have built some pretty impressive machines, but for the most part, we're probably at the slower end of the automotive forum world - any respectable car one of us beats is a reason for us to be happy. The 84 Corolla we beat on the way to get an egg mcmuffin doesn't count, but an RX8 going down, for whatever reason, is reason enough for me to be happy to hear the news.
I beat a newer infinity g35 off the line to 55mph. Then he got pulled over, that was a good win for me, no ticket
Makes me wonder how some crappy cars can keep up with you, it's like NO!!!! A 2001 Maxima that was stock was just barely slower then me.

Yeah he must have been terrible. I have driven my friends 07 automatic g35 and damn....that thing is fast. For a manual it takes off, not to mention the new ones i think are finally styled well in the interior and the exterior.

Even though the A4's aren't the fastest cars.....they sure as hell are the classiest

Heheh, my car is a 99 and I still get compliments on its styling. Kinda nice, because being a basically stock 30V, it's not like I'm gonna get a lot of comments on how fast it is

To be honest, i would rather get those compliments than the "your car is fast" compliments.

At this point I'm in the same boat really. My A4 will continue to be modded, but not for speed. It's going to get styling mods and convenience/feature toys, and that's about it. I'm all about handling and braking and will address that stuff, but as we all know, modding a 30V is kind of expensive if you really want to go fast, and as much fun as the G2 would be, I can think of far better ways to use that money than sinking it into a depreciating investment.

just fitted the flux capacitor and it was a negative reading could it be the battery or the alternator?
