98 A4 Airbox
I'm trying to do the Beermod Airbox Mod, but I can't even find where to begin...
Where is the damn airbox even located? I know it's got to be over a tire well, but I'm not sure which one, driver or passenger? Does it come out by removing some screws/bolts, or do I need to CUT it out? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Oh god, don't cut it out!
Your airbox is on the passenger side, right over the wheel well. Um.... under the hood. Its that huge chunk of black plastic, you can't miss it. There is a cover on top which just pulls right off. Then there are around 6 clips that hold the top of the box on. You will see them about half way down the side of the box and they are little silver clips. Just push them off the edge of lip. You will see the breather hose connected to the left side of the box which runs up to the front of the car in the grille. You can wiggle that thing around and take it apart. Your air box is pretty much just sitting in there, you shouldn't have too tough a time getting it out. Once you have the top off of the air box, you should be looking at the same thing as the pictures in the article. Good luck.
