What is a decent mileage that an Audi can run up to and still last me a couple years. I mean 150k sounds like alot to me.

I personally want mine to last me through college, then I want to upgrade to either an S4 (b5 or maybe B6) or go to the devil and get an M3 (E30, 36, or 46)
As long as you don't want to mod it too much and are happy with not having the quickest car around, but something that is enjoyable, I don't see why you couldn't pick the V6 over a 1.8T.

i have a 96' quattro with 170k on it and still runs great....the 2.8 12V is probably the most reliable of all the audi motors and as long as the car wasn't run like a race horse on meth and all the maint done right then it should last 200k + no problem

6 grand? HA I got mine for over half less than that... w/ maintenance records...
That car is a mirror image of mine... I say og for the 1.8 if you can find one. You probably can for that price.

I just bought a 97 A4 1.8T Quattro Sport with a mear 71k miles for $6300. I also made them pay for the local audi dealer to run a scan and new tires for that price. Look hard, use craigslist.com autotrader.com and anything else you can. Hell, even go to a local dealership and see if they can help you find one.

Man I've been working like a dog trying to find one. I know autotrader and craigslist like the back of my hand by now. i Actually ran across this one by massive google searches. I would pay that price for this car, plus I hear the 2.8's are more reliable thatn the 1.8T's.
And if any can, look at the parts put into the car and let me know how the condition is after all the money. Not just looks but engine mainly.

That one is at a really respectable dealer near me. I have no idea where you are from but if you want I could look at it for you.

This one doesnt look as appealing to me but it looks like a great car for the right person. plus it has service records....

Well I'm sure I can find a really decent car in my price range but the hard part is the location. I live in Miami, FL and I would like to keep it locally.
Appreciate the time you took to look for those cars though, thanks.
