Hello, We are looking at a 96 A4 that has in the neighborhood of 250,000 miles on it for our son. The AC needs compressor, back door doesn't work, interior is poor but seems to run solid. They are asking $2,000 for it but I don't think they realize that the odometer is wrong- carfax report shows it was probably rolled back in 2007 so I am guessing about 250K is what is actually on it. We are thinking of making an offer but don't know how much life is realistically left in this engine. Any thoughts?
