if you want proof, go sit in a jetta, then sit in your a4, your knees will thank you.

 

even the older jettas, like a 01 a4 and a 01 jetta are that much differnet? i thought same chassie but better every thing else????? guess im wrong

 

nope... go to amazon.com and look for the chilton manual for the a4... a golf and a jetta are actually the same platform... but i know for a fact that a jetta and an a3 are on the same platform, but the jetta looks bigger cause it overhangs further in the front and rear and the wheels are set out a bit further than on the a3

my girlfriend has a 00 jetta, and i have the a4, i cant stand being in her car cause its so damn small... you also sit much lower in the audi, and you can actually put people in the back of an a4

yea, its the crap that isnt performance that is hard to come across... i have learned lots of things about this car in the last month, since i bought it for 3000$ with 96000 miles and a blown motor, and i rebuilt that, so there isnt much about that car that i havent come across yet.
