sorry I'm new to turbos just sold my 02 mustang saleen

looking to buy a new car its down to 05 sti and 05 a4

is it possible for the 05 a4 to run low 12's? if so how much would it cost and what would i have to mod?

I really love this car and I don't want to spend 40k plus for the s4 to compete with the sti's.

I did a search but I couldn't really find anything as far as modding the 2005 a4.

There are mods for the A4 that can get you into sti territory.
Turbo, intake, exhaust and dv are the obvious mods necessary.

If you can wait, the consensus is to get the brand new B7 A4. All new look, new engines and upgraded systems. The B6 will be outdated and undesirable at that point. The B5's will remain in their own league because of their classic looks.

the B7 is out already it has a 2.0 turbo with 200HP and new design

 

another car you might look into is a 90-93 celica alltrac you can get one for a few thousand and if you putt 10 into it you could run 11s my other vehicle is an alltrac that i need to putt my other motor in at the moment but they dont mess around once you get a few mods into them

 

WTF where do this come from the guy is looking for a new car as he just said he just sold his saleen mustang which is a pretty fast car now he wants something newer and you steer him towards this a 90 Celica WTF are you thinking and if you put 10g's into a sti or A4 you will be around that range too [sm=loser.gif]

I must say this is one of the better forums I have been on.

I have been doing research on the STI and a even the EVO and on the forums their is just flaming and some immature kids

I'm going to go for a test drive and check out some number on the a4 this weekend.

okay so 2005 a4 is out now with a B6 engine.
2006 is also out with a B7 engine same horsepower and the car has same design and everything as the 2005.

So would it be right to say I would need to spend 5k on engine upgrades to run low 13s?
