RE: 2004 Audi A4 baseline dyno and InMotion Tuning
Hey, thanks for following up, at least someones watching this thread. I actually had to move it back to next tuesday cause i could not install the new Forge DV myself. i thought i could but it was just too difficult for my hands to get in there. So i am having dyno-comp install it and then do the dyno test next tuesday.

Easier if you pull off the first clamp (not the one time use, the screw one) , and unhook the hose. Then you can pull the DV down to you, then you have to use pliers and a wrench clamp to squeeze the bastard clamp off. If you unhook the little hose and the screw clamped hose off first you get much more room. Hurry up damnit!!![:@]

The shop is going to do it for $45 bucks, so ill let them worry about all that stuff, plus its already gonna be in the shop for the dyno test.

Alright so the final test is done with the InMotion Tuning Chip. This test was done within 2 degrees of temperature from the first test i did a few weeks ago, same dyno same 91octane pump gas. the only thing that was changed was 1degree cooler plugs(i live in arizona so its hot) still NGK and the new ReFlashed ECU from InMotion tuning and a new Forge DV to handle the added boost.
Also this is a Dyno-Comp dynomometer which is a load bearing dyno which typically puts out low number compared to other dynos, but both sessions were done on the same dyno so if you want you can use % comparisons if you like.
This was the best of three pulls and all three pulls were within 2hp of each other and the tuner said this program runs great. He is a GIAC and EcoTech dealer and said these are on par with what both of those progams typically put out on this car and that dyno.
and we also ran A/F on the dyno and everything was right on par and the boost gauge read a spike at 19.5psi and holding at 16-18 psi.

yea if you weren't in pheonix you would see those numbers jump a whole lot. my car runs like **** whenever the temperature is above 70. but below 70 its a completely different car... SO MUCH FASTER. You would defintly see a very nice rise in power if you were at a cooler spot. how hot is it at night there?
