2002 1.8T: Resetting the "SERVICE!" indicator? Can only find for older models...
Did a search here and saw help only for earlier generations - anyone know how to reset the service! light on my 2002 A4?
Is it in the owner's manual?
Thanks!

yeah, figured it out... for those who search for this:
1. turn off ignition
2. press and hold the dashboard button that looks like a wrench
3. turn the ignition to the on position (do not start car)
4. while still holding the wrench button, press the 0,0 button
5. done!

I had the same question, I read the manual and did exactly what it said and the result was a bunch of dashes and no numbers where the days and miles go. did i break it? or whats up?

I thought the same thing after I had my car serviced. The car is probably set up with variable service intervals. It takes about 2 weeks before it comes up with the length of time and number of miles to your next service.
It must average how you drive over a 2 week period and then calculate how long till the next service?
