2001 Audi A4 1.9 TDI won't start
Hi everyone.
I'm in a bit of a pickle. My normally very reliable A4 seems to have just suddenly given up, it won't start at all. It's Tuesday night, and I'm meant to be driving from London home to Ireland for Christmas on Friday morning.
Here's what happens:
I turn the key, lights come on....and then it powers down. No engine noises at all. It just fizzles out. Battery was replaced about 6 months ago brand new, so it should be fine....no? What else can cause this problem? The engine literally makes no noise. It's like the ignition mechanism isn't even firing up.
Also, does anyone know of anywhere decent in London to get an A4 fixed that won't cost me an arm and a leg?
Many thanks!
