it will really come down to how much money you have.

the b5 is very outdated at this point, inside and out. it's not as solid as the b6 chassis, not as refined, and just isn't as polished. i absolutely loved the b5 a4 when it was audi's latest model, and i still love it. but when i first got into a b6, i was stunned at how far audi had come. the b6 interior is absolutely world class.

as far as the exterior, the b6, especially with an ultrasport package (which is a body kit audi offered from the factory) is one of the nicest looking production cars ever made this side of a supercar.

if you have the money, the b6 is a no-brainer.

the bottom line however, is whether or not you get a b5 or a b6, you're still getting an audi.

I <3 the 02. I currently have an 03 and its very similar to the 02, I personally like the new body style more than the old one. The old one looks like a civic or older 3 series BMW. Thats just my opinion

the 02-05 were the SAME car...with very minor changes thru the years...mid 2005 is when the B7 (the newest model audi) came out.

this is another reason it's nice to get an 02, it's the same car as the 05, so you have a car that looks only a year old...not like the b6 body is gonna look dated any time soon.

as for the pix of the cars i posted, i just grabbed the b5 pix from ebay.

the usp a4 is my car...it's on stock non-sport suspension, EcHhHhH. i'm gonna get some stasis streetsports or tein basics by the end of the year.
