Can anybody help
I have got a 2001 1.9TDi 130 BHP A4.
Problem is when it is ticking over it is lumpy ie not smooth/even, it sort of misses a beat every now and then.
It has been in to an Audi dealers and they said it was a problem with the EGR valve this was replaced at an unbelivable cost (£26 + Vat for the valve + fitting total £346 a **** take im sure you will agree) but the problem still remains.
i have taken it back and the fitter hooked the car up to the diagnostics and no faults where found. he agreed it was not ticking over right but had no clue how to sort it .
Help its driving me nuts.

I'd consider any and all parts related to timing and have the DV checked, but....
Try asking the guys at Audi Sport.
The guys there are mostly from the UK. Most of us are in the States and the 1.9tdi is not an engine we get here.
But please come back and let us know how you got it sorted out so we can have the results archived. Thanks.
