Some guy from my class thinks his eclipse can beat my 5 spd A4 2.8 quattro sports package with only k&N air filter..but ya anyway, i dont think he has any other mods for it besides a muffler, its just a basic eclipse prolly 2001 and up for sure. What do you guys think? Should I race him?

 

1) Don't race because it's just plain stupid.
2) Don't waste your time. You have no reason to spank his *** hard.
3) You have nothing to prove, he has nothing on you!

 

ur car is heavy though

but which eclipes does he have the I4 or the V6, it is manual or auto

the V6 has 200hp/205tq and weighs about 3000 pound
and the I4 has 147hp/158 tq and im sure it wieghts about 2900+ pounds

if its the V6 u'll lose in a strait line becasue ur heavier and have alot more powerloss to the wheels due to quatto

 

dont race him. one you might loose and that would suck or 2 you would crash and thats even worse. so walk away

 

y do u have to race him? wut do u race for to see if ur faster than the guy next to u? if i were to race it would for sumthing important plus i only race for pinks

well I'm not talking about like straightaway, just on the freeway, cuz we take the same freeway for about 3 min b4 he goes the other way, so I know if im traveling at like 45, I just keep it in 3rd, bham go go go go hit 85, throw it in 4th go go go, hit 100, drop in 5th if I have to
and im gone.

 

ya well it would be cool to have an audi again.

 

Forget the BS I'm saving myself 5g'z, and buying myself a PES supercharger and a GIAC chip, 300+ hp and all I had to spend was 10,500 thats supercharger +price of car, damn i got a deal!
