RE: is 17 psi ok???
it should be about 21 psi. check for leaks. when you accellerate, have your windows open, you shouldnt hear any loud wshhhhhhhh noise when you are accelleration. if it sounds like someone playing compressed air out od a hose, you have a leak. the most likley palce (if u have one that is) is when you are looking at the engine compartment from the front of the car, look just to thr right of the engine and the very far end of the intake manifold, there is a L shaped hose. check the corner on that. mine had a huge tear in it. when i fixxed it, i peaked at 21 psi

I hear a loud whoosh and tha car is fast as hell after the whoosh sounds goeas away it feels stock. I was told my ecu still needs to adapt to the flash since I did it last weekend but with the whoosh it is faster shouldn't it be slower if that meant there was a leak??

RE: is 17 psi ok???
by the way I was told after the flash turbo psi should be between 18-22 psi so not sure if 17 is okay, I have no idea what I'm at right now cuz I dont have a boost gauge yet but I am just telling what the evolution motorsports audi specialist told me

17 is normal. Not every car is the same... Some hold 15/16, some hold 18-20. An n75 j or h valve will get you to hold one or two more psi. When I had my stock n75 i was spking to 23 psi and holding about 16 or 17. Now i spike to 21ish and hold between 18-20 depending on the day.. Sometimes its different. I think the latest APR and GIAC chips are 1.1 bar chips, and if you are boosting 17 psi then that= almost 1.2 bar. 1.1bar=16 psi (actually 15.9) so anything over that id consider a bonus and nothin to complain about.
