Fastest ive ever heard of was 13.6, on 22psi. Full weight. The gt2x ran 13.2, on 35psi, race gas, and a crazy clutch. No one will ever see that time. Look at toms atp kit, atp said 12.4, but we know of no one that even has a 12 sec slip.

Perfect tune, 275chp.

If you want to go fast, just buy another car. I thought these have more potential, should have gone for an S4

With a launch like that and only a 13.4 disappoints me! I can roll of idle in my 3 and get the same time.
Your E36 M3 is running low 13's unmodded??? Bullshit, modded with slicks maybe.......

Lets see some of your slips? and if it is from a roll please... Hey the A4 1.8T ain't the fastest but I can walk a naturally aspirated E36 M3 with ease. Hell I have done it more than once on the highway and the track..

Now an E46 that is a diferent story but at least I am being realistic here. Unless you got a slip on that claimed low 13 than it is only talk.

AWADD9, I have driven both the new style and old style m3's, and the old ones aren't too bad. They are a high 13 stock, with i/h/e/ and tires, it is very possible to be running low 13s. Just curious, what all do you have done to your a4?

Hey I know M3's are fast. and did not mean to sound so hostile in the post above, but I often find it is easier said than done. Here is a link with some M3 times. no doubt fast cars. But the ones running low 13's are pretty modded and most need to run drag tires.

http://www.dragtimes.com/browse3.php...MW&carmodel=M3

Keep in mind I am only running a 1.8L turbo charged 4 cyl. that weighs in at anywhere from 3620-3690 at the track. I too wish that we could see huge gains from smaller amounts of money like seen in the JDM market but we do not..

Was the time crazy fast? no but for a car running a cat. converter and stock exhaust manifold, and an engine bay that looks stock I am pleased.. We will go into the 12's it is just a matter of time..

I guess I just like to see results and not here about what a car can supposedly do..

Man thanks for speaking up for us again. That dude is totally negative towards the A4. I don't understand this comparison between the M3 and the A4 anyway b/c the M3 is more in the stock S4 category. Anyway, with some people it's always the "glass half empty" mentality.

If any of us wanted to have the fastest 1/4 mile times we would've all bought Japanese cars. I've never been as excited about a car as I am about my A4 and just because the potential to run 11 sec 1/4 mile times isn't there I don't feel like it's a lost cause to mod it how i please.

I have thought about this quite a bit, have had the opportunity to purchase other cars in a similar price range to my car. At the end of the dayt ywhat keeps me coming back is the VAG culture... The culture for VAG autos is totally unique. Insane fanatics who could sit down on a friday get high and drunk and talk about ripping a VW 8v engine apart and putting it back together in the same day.

We are obssesive and we are fanatics, it is freaking awesome..
