1.8T Air Intake

1.8T Air Intake
Yes a common topic
but ive searched audiworld forums and still end up with "???"
What is the best Air Intake mod?
Air Box Mod - this was talked about but, people said it did worse, or they didn't gain anything, or what they ended up gaining wasn't worth it
here's the link: http://www.europeanspeed.com/stage2.htm
Carboino - This one looks really good, could use a cover, but the sound was increased, and the power also was increased

I know Neuspeed makes that "larger" intake pipe, but for the money, it looks like it would add as much air as adding stickers to your car
also ive seen people just make the cone filter, and a bent piece of pipe, with a sheet metal barrier, which would seen to use the air from the engine bay more than anything, and not really benefit because its not sealed
Someone was also talking about removing the screen on the MAF sensor, i have no clue about that, so what is the most cost effective intake mod for the 1.8T and acctually letting Cold air, get to the motor?
Carboino looked the best in my opinion
