Hey I was looking for some help from anybody who actually knows Audi's. I really cannot decide what to get...the 05 1.8t quattro or the 07 2.0t quattro. I know the 2.0t has 30 more standard HP and all that, but for the price, is the 30 extra HP really worth it? And what about the handling? I heard the 2.0t actually has less handling performance than the 1.8t. I'm looking for as much help as anyone can give me because I am buying one of these very soon, so...please help! Thanks.

 

i would get the 2.0 hands down. the new fsi engines are sick and barely ever come into the dealer for repairs, just maintenance. not to mention the b7's are sexier than the b6's.

What about handling-wise though, I know the FSI is way better and definitely more powerful than the 1.8, but like I already said I have heard that the handling in the 2.0 is more like a luxury than a sports suspension, whereas the 1.8 has premium suspension meant for rough handling.

 

No, the handling on the 1.8T will be no better than the 2.0
If you don't really mind spending the extra bucks, than there is really no decision to be made. The '07 is a newer car, updated interior/exterior, less miles, better/more options, more reliable, etc...........
