RE: 03' a4 - run past 150k?
Well you won't have to replacethe engine, but plan on doing a timing belt job (every 60k), water pump, potentially clutch if it is a manual, control arms, etc., etc. Search for common problems and you'll get a big ole list of potential issues. My 01 is at 77,5xx miles right now and runs like a dream. I do keep it in good shape though; did my clutch, timing belt, water pump at 62k mi.
It all depends on how well the car is maintained/has been maintained in the past.
By the way, is it a 1.8T or a 3.2?

LOL
Your k03 will probably be near its death around 150k... your clutch will probably be ready to go as well, and like mentioned above.. timing belt/water pump/other matinience every 60k... make sure its had synthetic oil used on it, its entire life.. especially for the 1.8T's
Thats really it.

If you are religious about your oil and do the timing belt, water pump changes and generally take care of the car it should last a long time. Is it a 1.8 or a 3.0? My 3.0 has 73k on it, and it drives like a new car, but I also take care of it.
