Default Thump??!!??

Could be a bad control arm bearing - basically it bangs around loosly in the socket (the socket housing gets stretched over time).

Does it sound only when you run over something or take a turn? Sound like its coming from a wheel?

same thing with the same wheel was happening to me for about 2 days, and the day i was gonna take it to a mechanic 3 out 5 of my lugnuts SNAP!!!

i hade the same prob i changed my control arms and every thing was fine. this prob was the worst when i went over railroad tracks.
