i'll check that tom when its sunny ! hopefully ... but it has been missfiring more often recently especially under acceleratoin ( that could be b/c that is when you feel it mostly ) also ....

 

perhaps we just call the item differently first picture is the 1.8t second is the 2.8 30v and the ignition amplifier is built into the coil pack

Heh, I have that same problem....my cel's are lean codes and vacuum leaks. I just haven't had the time to pressure check it. But it fluctuates at idle and misfires. It actually sounds like the only reason it is fluctuating is bc of the misfires. But hopefully I can do that this weekend.
