Whizzy fizzy 'fine rattle' when gear changing during acceleration
Hi guys,
I just bought a 1999 A3 1.8T. During the 2 test drives I didn't notice this noise at all but since picking it up there is a fine whizzy rattle lasting a second or so at the point of making each gear change whilst accelerating. The car drives fine but this sound is worrying me. The service history of the car indicates that a 'turbo recirculation valve' was replaced by audi back in october 2001 but nothing since then. Could this be due to the same problem again??
Any help or advice would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
marv
