Vogtland Coilovers and H&R Sways with Brembo’s
Vogtland Coils and H&R Sways
By far the best modification other than the APR chip upgrade…there have been a number of turns that I drive on a regular basis and have really tried to push the stock A3 suspension and the car would really protest and bog down in those turns. The Vogtland’s suspension makes tight turns, 270 degree on-ramps easy and fun. They feel completely flat in-and-out of the turns, I can take these turns 20-40 mph faster than with the stock suspension.
Road Feel – The new suspension is about 30% rougher than stock. On the freeway you can tell really tell when we cross segments of the freeway.
Tire Rub – 225/40/18s almost none, I only had a few times they rubbed in some tight hairpins and I was pushing it very hard.
Speed Bumps – Not really any problems going over these
Road Bumps – They feel harder on the new suspension, but very livable.
Lowering Drop- I will put up before and after pics later. It was lowered more than I thought it would be and it looks great.
Brembo BBK
I added these this week also. During basic traffic you really can’t tell the difference from stock. However, going over the canyons or if you step on them hard the really come to life. Combined with the new suspension makes canyon runs a blast, I will be going to Button Willow next month and that will be a great test for the new setup.

I have the Koni coilovers and the Neuspeed RSB, and I will agree. The drop on the car looks very dramatic, and the cornering is just awesome! It does protest some on bumpy roads though.
Cheers!

does the RSB make a large impact on ride quality? I'm going to be getting Koni C/O installed on the 9th of feb and some people have suggested I get a RSB as well. Sounds good I just don't want it to be a detriment to ride quality.
