Default service interval reset

Could any tell me how to reset my service interval display? I passed the 10,000 mile mark and the light came and service isn't due until the 15,000 mark. I looked at owners manual and tried to follow the directions and it isn't working. Is there a trick that I am missing? Thanks

As far as I know it can only be re-set by the dealer with the appropriate equipment

there are 2 buttons on the lower part of the clocks, press and hold button B under the rev counter and turn the ignition on then release it, then while ignition is still on turn the other button A under the MPH to the left that will reset it, if its set to long life service nothing will happen and diagnostic reset tool will be required
