Default Remove Engine Cover

How does one remove the plastic engine cover to replace the air filter? I can usually figure anything out but this has me stymied. I can see where the air filter is nestled. I unscrewed the knurled nut on the front left, removed the two screws on the right side, removed the air intake and outake connections but still couldn't loosen the engine cover. What's the secret?
Thanks in advance for someone's help.

It's actually really easy. in thought its easy. you need to grab the two sides and just yank as hard as you possibly can. The rubber grommets that hold in down are very tight. Then you have half a dozen screws that you have to remove before you get to the air filter.

Yeah. you wanna disconnect your MAF sensor in the top left and undo the 2 metal clips as well. Be sure to undo the intake hose with a big set of large mouth pliers. There is one grommet in each corner just about. I usually pull on the right side first. ( it seems to be easier ) If the rubber grommets stay on the engine take them off and put them back on the cover. It wont sit right if u dont, or it will be a big pain to make it sit right.

Thanks for the lead. The engine cover came off with a good yank at each corner. I lubed it with silicon so next time perhaps it will not be as difficult to remove.
Cheers, ScottTBurg
