Im not having much look with the car recently... two weeks ago i took the car in for new front pads... came out with a 500 quid bill.
now yesterday im driving home from work, stop at the shop, get back in my car and power steering GONE.
warning light is on the dash. I drove the car home and left it for a while (reading on the forum that its usually temp dependent) and surprise surprise after an hour the steering is back to normal.
Ive read that this is an expensive job to replace the main unit.
i havnt got the VAG software or cables, so cant check for errors straight away. I doubt its going to be fuses or connection problems.
What do you guys think?
