Definitely paint the sidemarkers if you can't get smoked ones. And maybe aGerman plate or plate filler.

Has anyone tried blacking out the mounting arm and backside of the rearview mirror? Or is that a [sm=badidea.gif]

you can buy paint that you can smoke those sidemarkers out yourself its easy just do it in very light coatings. and its much cheaper than buying whole new lens. search smoke paint on ebay.
