Default opensky issue

My opensky seems to have an odd behavior sometimes when driving at high speed, like 75 plus MPH i get a buzzing/vibration coming from the roof. If i open the sunshade and press up at the very front gently i can feel the vibration and stop it until i let go. Anyone else experience this? I've been so busy at work that i can't even think of going to the dealer right now, but when i get the chance i will do it and have them fix it, hopefully.

Yeah, I've experienced the same thing. Only happens infrequently though.

There is a TSB for this one too. I got mine fixed and I only get buzzing when I'm going 115+... doesn't bother me since its a good speed warning

yeah, mine's been buzzing, but only around 80+mph. i went to the dealer, but the fuqin dealer said that since it's above 65 mph, they won't fix it and they won't drive it past 65 mph. fuqin SD Audi Dealer. although they DID do a test run at 65 mph and there was no noise.

hey nam, don't know if it'll help you get them to duplicate it, but for me if i open and close the roof at speed, 60 should do, it makes it more likely to buzz. the 65mph thing they told u seems like bunk. I hope i get better service... Any reccomendations on where to take it to get service?

Just got the car back from McKenna Audi today(dropped off this morning) and they couldn't duplicate the problem(i rode with the shop foreman in the car) up to 85mph...they did do some adjustments to tighten everything up a bit to see if it'll help. Hopefully it goes away...Had a loaner car, PT Cruiser...wow is that car underpowered, i may be spoiled by the A3, but it couldn't make it up a hill without downshifting twice, and they only held speed. It was a base model so i guess its expected, but still seemed pretty badly underpowered, among other complaints, like super highseating position, noisy, rattles everywhere overly heavy steering, and no handling performance to speak of at all. Glad to have my A3 back
