No throttle response or obd connectivity
Hi
Got a bit if a pain here. Audi a3 2008 1.9tdi with no throttle response or obd connectivity. Obd was working OK and threw up brake pressure switch so changed that (under brake master cylinder) and fault cleared for a while, only to return. Adding insult to injury the obd port will not connect to scanner now. Scanner tested on another vehicle and OK. Bought a bootlegged Ross tech lead and downloaded software the way I was told and also will not connect.
Checked 10a fuse for obd and its fine. Pulled plug on factory stereo and still not connect. Pulled plug in abs pump and still not connect.
Wondering if abs pump may be issue and on verge of sending off but wanted to check if this could also be reason throttle pedal no responding sittimg at 10,000 revs and reason for no obd connectivity.
Bought a mapped ecu off ebay thinking perhaps I'd fried the old one by repeatedly using a standard scanner but there is still no connection. The previous owner also tried swapping out the throttle body and pedal but fault with no throttle has returned. I've also changed all abs wheel sensors but warning light still on, throttle still not responding and now no obd connctevity so just lost as to next step now.
What to do?
