Interesting. When I got my a3 the dealer tried to sell me the $550 plan, but first I don't take my car to the dealer for oil changes and stuff, I do this much cheaper. Second the company foots the bill for maintenance, but if I bought the conract up front it would count against my budget for the car.

I suppose if you are keen on having the dealer do your maintenance it is a reasonably priced package, but if you are a do it yourselfer you can save some bucks.

According to the paperwork I got nothing is transferable, and it also cannot be cancelled for a refund, which had me smelling a rat. I worked for carmax, their warranty could be transferred and cancelled, but it was actually just a warranty, not prepaying your maintenance for the next few years.

Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with the Audi Pure Protection extended warranty/service contract.

As mentioned in this thread, Audi partners with Fidelity Warranty Services for this program.

Fidelity Warranty Services has received many terrible reviews on other sites, but not for Audi owners.

Did any of you Audi owners buy the Audi Pure Protection warranty - how did it work out for you?
