Hello forum, I recently purchased a used 2007 A3 2.0 FF, and it didn't come with a user manual, so I am lost on how to change the red-text display you see thru the steering wheel. Especially the info displayed above the gear info... it used to display remaining fuel distance (240miles etc) at some point some button got pushed and now it shows how long I've been driving? (108hrs 10min)
What other info can be displayed here and how do you change it?!

I just bought a 2013 A3. This is how it works:You use the wiper stalk. The bottom button-facing the floor-scrolls through the displays. You can explore some displays by pushing the button on the end of the stalk-facing the passenger window. The "Set/Check" stuff is useful;oil temp,set clock,set door locking/unlocking functions,etc.

I can't believe they have the same user interface for 6yrs!

 

Try to buy an owner's manual. If the dealer no longer sells them,try the internet. These cars are really complex . My owner's manual is close to 300 pages,and that doesn't include the 80-page manual just for the nav/audio system! You will enjoy the car a lot more if you know how to use all of its features.

 

I tried to search for the manual online, before posting on this forum. But couldn't find anything. Do you think the dealer sells owner's manuals from 2007?
