I thought this might be handy for you guys. I'm in Euroland so I guess these are Euro mats.

Sorry about the dirt but I guess that's why I got them...

Yeah, I think there's enough chrome detail around the grill. Some people down here put that door edge molding on every crevice of the car and it can make a nice car look really disgusting.

Hey, do the Euro-style mats snap in like the A3 logo ones?

Thanks for the source info.

Audi also has Euro all weather floor mats, which I like because they give a little extra coverage. The Audi dealer should have them or you can order on line at http://www.clairparts.com. Actually you can order both type on line from Clair.

My dealer gave me mine for cost which was a surprise to me, but I'll take it.
Yes they fit perfectly in place of the stock mats but give more floor coverage. Especially on the passenger side since it covers that hump. I'm very happy with them, yet the other A3 mats look cool also.

Hi All-

Can the A3-logo rubber mats go right on top of the carpet mats that come stock with the vehicle? I would think that would just give an extra layer of noise insulation between the passengers and the road. Just curious because this thread has inspired me to seek them.

You could do that, but they wouldn't be able to clip into place. It's really no benefit to do it that way. Just clean up the carpeted mats nice and store them for later use.

Cheers!

Hi Chef-

Good point about the mats clipping into place. I figured those Audi mats with the gray A3 logo look fantastic and it could have simultaneously have been some acoustic padding to make the car even quieter!
