yes the new S4 is not what it should be but RS4 is big difference what the S4 should be[:'(]
and if you really want fast audi you should gone with B5 S4 little tuning and than you see the monster in a Audi
or really extreem try to race RS6 to ketch up on that power you will spend more mony than a RS6 cost

Top speed is 156 mph (electronically limited) which is about the same as a stock A3. No idea why you brought this into the discussion. It's not hard to chip an Evo to getrid of the limiter. Nor is "top speed" that significantunless you can get it 200+ with a super car.Anyone can step on the gas to reach top speed.

Top speed is the most worthless thing ever.. if you can get into 130/140 thats high enough. When in the hell do you race someone past 100mph anyway.. unless your starting up high for some odd reason. Usually you run from stop to 80-100 or untill you've proved you've won.

friend of mine has EVO IX and like i sad only roll on not dead stop
and yes we did couple of runs every time i would leave him
and by the way EVO doesnt have speed limiter
his runs 165mph about 10 mph slower than my A3 (S3)[8D]
if you stop at 100 mph dont bother to race on the EAST coast
sorry man but i have lived too long in Germany and as you know avrage speed over there is about 120 mph
but what ever bring me stock EVO or STI as stryker sad AAA
no body is talking modded EVO

Well your an S3.. different ballpark than the A3.

 

Even an S3 won't hang with a stock Evo. Evo= more Hp, Evo=lighter, Evo=faster . To put it in perspective, Evo Smokes the S4. Is an S3 faster than an S4? Stock Evo puts down 0-60 in 4.8 secs.
BTW, Yes, stock Evos are electronically speed limited. 2005 and on have a 5000rpm launch control programed in also.
