Default Chef's Birthday Present

Okay, so I've been unhappy that my Audi was in a wreck and desparately wanting to get back into my car, but I hate driving a previously wrecked car. I figured it was time to branch out, open up, and upgrade. I left work earlier today, went to the Audi dealership, fell in love....the rest is history.

Meet my new best friend:

2007 S4 4.2L V8 6MT Silver with black leather Ricaro seats, heated front & back, carbon fiber lip, rear spoiler, interior trim, nav, bose, +++++++++

FAST!!!

Oh, maybe I should have posted this in the "S" section?

CHEERS!!!

You know what they say.........if you have to ask?

I cranked through some tight 25mph s-curves today at 80mph with the tires squealing and about Shiat myself I was having so much fun. Oh my God!!!

The slippery slope of increasingAudi addiction is now looking vertical. Happy landings, Chef. I think one of the German tuners offers a supercharger for that beast.

I like the front grill and carbon fiber front lip, but was surprised that it didn't have an "S4" on the grill. Imagine the first scrap of the carbon fiber on a parking curb? [:@][&:][:@]

Chef, I am jealous... I almost bought a 2004 S4 instead of the A3 but the gas mileage would have been ridiculous... and I dunno if you have seen the prices of gas in Irvine... but as the real Chef would say "FUDGE THAT".

So what are you going to do with the A3? Did you trade it in? Damn you must have lost a good bit of money if you did.

The A3 is in the shop, but they said it was going to paint this afternoon and should be back by Friday at the latest. I expect it to come back in factory fresh condition. Hopefully!
