Default bluetooth question

Can Bluetooth be added to an 06 Sport w/Nav+ ? I have heard conflicting stories from dealers.

Thanks.

You lost me. Can the bluetooth functionality be added? There is a button on the console under the nav screen that says Tel. But when I press it, it says no telephone installed. (I haven't had the chance to read the manual yet...)

So I have the bluetooth module in my car. When I press the TEL button and my phone is not connected to the car I get the same message. Are you sure you didn't get the optional extra for bluetooth. I assume you would know if you didn't, but you could try searching for bluetooth devices with your car turned to accessories and if it finds a "Audi UHV 5866" (well that is what my car's bluetooth device is called) or something similar name, then you have it already.

Anyways, if you don't have it but you have the Nav head unit then I would see no reason why "they" couldn't install the bluetooth module and connect it up to your head unit and trip computer. I mean it must be a modular design - that would make sense right.

could be one of two reasons
1. it has sat nav combined with bluetooth so use your mobile phone to scan for objects and link it
2. its hasn't any and needs to be added

FYI

Asked the dealer yesterday. Mine doesn't have it, but to install it (according to him) would be well over $3000. Apparently, much more is involved than just a bluetooth module. (additional/replacement wiring harnesses, etc. )
