Did anyone put in an aftermarket head unit? I have the Audi Concert stereo now and want to put in a Pioneer Avic-N1 but im not sure if I want to do that because I really like the steering wheel controls. So if anyone did put one in or know of something that will make the steering wheel controls work with the head unit please let me know. Thank You.

 

I want too, but I love steering wheel controls so much. At the moment, no one creates an adapter to work with the CAN-BUS system, but supposedly PAX will make one soon.

If you want to replace the concert stereo system, you can get an single DIN OEM faceplate from vagparts.com. As far as wiring the new radio, no one makes adapters yet so you will need to hardwire everything yourself.

 

Aww that sucks. I guess I wont be putting in my screen until that comes out. Wiring the radio is no problem bc I like doing that kind of stuff lol. I just had fun putting in an amp and sub.
