It might just be canada only. I'm in Southern California (with absolutely no need of a cold weather package) and if all of the above is correct, have a 2008.5 (purchased 2 weeks ago today). The cold weather package is definitely not included.

 

joe392, standard features and option packages are frequently different between the U.S. and Canada...regardless of make/model. Frequently U.S. customers get to chose features as stand-alone options, where we have to buy "packages". This may not be true for the A3 though, based on some of the threads I have read. Anyway, my bum will be warm next winter.

I read that thread when I first got my car, but I was still a bit confused. Although I just recently purchased the car, it still has the FSI engine cover on it. It does have an Aux jack. How do I determine when the car was built? Thanks for the info

 

I am also confused, but this is kind of normal. This may mean that the ECU programmer I have on my desk may not work. I can't believe that Audi doesn't keep it's dealers up to date on this stuff. Does anyone know at what build date they added the TSFI engine? Was it week 50 as stated above?
