Hi Wembley-
By definition the 3.2 is pretty loaded-up because it's an S-Line model with Quattro and DSG that also includes the Audi top-of-the-line audio system. All one can really add is navigation, Sirius, cold weather package, OpenSky, and 18" wheels.

Its white, why would'nt you trade it in? [8D]
Bottom line if you plan on possibly modding the car at all, get a 2.0T. With just a chip it can have more power than the 3.2. On the other hand if you dont plan on messing with anything and just want to have some nice to drive, go with the 3.2.If mileage is an issue if you commute a lot, the 2.0T would be a better choice.

From the picture that has been painted, it seems like the 2.0T would be the better choice...although I'm still wondering why an A3 at all given the other very cool cars in the stable.

I drove a B7 S4 a couple weeks ago and it was an absolute blast! But, my A3 is very very fun to drive as well, and it didn't cost me $58k. It would be a very close race at this point against that car too, and the fuel mileage is much superior on the A3. Definitely a good choice IMO.
Cheers!

Thanks for all the good feedback. I can’t find a 2t with the sport pkg to test drive near me. I’ve talked to the 3 Audi dealers within my area, and they don’t have any. It must be due to the model year change or something. It is good to know the 08 2t sline will have a power seat, that is a big difference for me.
I am looking at the A3 for a daily driver replacement (not a “fun” fool around in car, I still have my E46 M3 for that when I want to go do some launch control starts with the SMG ). I do 100 miles a day which takes me at least 2 hours in travel time. So the seating position etc makes a huge difference. I am not looking at an S4s for a couple of reasons, one there is more leg room in the A3 (I am 6’3) and two the overall gas mileage/ daily driver needs. To me the A3 seems like the perfect blend of fun, practicality and comfort.
So far I have driven 5 A3s with various options / pkgs and I think the car is perfect for what I am buying it for. The fun factor that is has makes it a no brainer over anything else I drove. I looked at an IS 250 AWD last night and the A3 made it feel like a grandma car lol. However you get a lot more options-wise with the IS, keyless start, HID lights, heated/ cooled seats and on and on. The A3 I just a lot more fun to me than anything else I drove that met my “commuter” needs. If you can have a fun, practical commuter car, then life is good.
