Hey all-
I have my service scheduled for next week and I am curious as to what they are going to be doing to my car. I've searched at length for the 15k checklist of things they do. Does anyone know where I can see that list?

The first thing is the I3 reflash. Have you thought about how you're going to deal with that?

 

My 15,000 service is coming up also, let me know how it goes. I plan to put the APR to stock before going. If they ask if im chipped, i'll be honest and tell them, if they don't ask, I'm not going to tell them. If they make me sign some paper saying they are not responsible for damages reflashing, I'll probably sign it.

I just dont't know how they will deal with the CEL that will throw after the I3 flash because of my downpipe.

 

I got that recal reflash on my 5,000 mile a few months ago. They won't do it again, right?

 

Nope.

Otherwise, it's just and oil and filter, plus tire rotation.

Nothing to worry about.

The "big" service is at 35k miles.

I just so happened to get my 15k service today at Audi of Downtown LA. Here's what was on the menu:

-oil and filter
-replace pollen filter
-top off fluids
-set tire pressure

I think they also did the reflash - under labor was listed "completed recall I3 - .50TU"

They also noted that my front brakes were at 80% and my rear brakes at 70%.

 

I thought front brakes usually wore faster than rears. At least that has been the case with any car I have kept long enough to have to change out the pads.

 

Maybe he is driving most of the time in reverse???

 

Maybe he's using the handbrake on turns a lot.

 

According to the shop guys, that's where my brakes are at. I did experiment in an empty parking lot with the handbrake a few times ... harder than it looks
