'06 Audi A3 clicking/ticking engine noise...Help!
Hey,
So I just bought a 2006 Audi A3 2.0T. I've owned a couple Audi's in the past and I've never heard this sound before. It has about 47k miles on it and runs pretty smooth except I noticed a noise when I got the car home. Sounds like a clicking or ticking noise coming from the cam belt but I'm not really sure.
I've read that the 2.0T engine has very high compression so this noise may be normal but it doesn't sound normal to me. Sounds like a belt or possibly something else making this ANNOYING noise.
Anybody have any ideas what this could be? I want to get an idea before I take it in to my local shop.
THANKS!!

I've been told the injectors have a tendency to tap with less then perfect gas. Happened to me once and it sounded like I was driving a diesal. Cleared up during my next tank full. There was also a service advisory about the fuel lines rattling under the car...
