How many miles did the car have? I am looking to find some cheap EGT sensors and o2 sensors. Also do you think the airbag control module will work on the 2.7t a6?

Chris....thanks for the rear view mirror! Install was a breeze and like you said the auto dimming feature works PERFECTLY!! Would also like to say thanks for being patient and answering all my questions. Quick shipping too actually, arrive 4 days after you sent it from Cali to Virginia. Anyways take it easy, good luck on the 914 project. I too work on porsches and can just imagine the fun . Where will you be mounting the intercoolers and radiator?

Kevin, thanks for the possitive feedback. As for the 914 project the first hurdle is to adapt the 993 suspension to the car, lots of fab work but well worth it. Then we will be able to hang the engine and trans and determine things like the intercoolers and since the Audi transaxle has a much shorter bell housing I am hoping that I can place the radiator in front of the engine?? I have been dragging this car around as a shell with flares on it for over 10 years and I think this will be the year to get it together. I will post lots of pics on the different club sites when completed.
Thanks again for the purchase,
Chris

Definetly post some pics. My first car ever was a 1973 porsche 914. That car was a total blast! I can see it being a perfect project car as stock it weighs about 1800 pounds. I felt like I could just lift it up and use my foot to slide a jack stand under
