I'm looking for a really nice car with a good interior. OK, we know the headliner is probably sagging and I can live with that, but the seats have got to be nice as well as the dash pad.. Here is my basic wish list: Body good. I don't care about fading paint, but please no demo derby cars. The Engine and tranny must be smooth. High miles are a problem on the engine, but I'd be leary of the tranny unless it was replaced.

It doesn't have to be a turbo, but I wouldn't rule it out. TQ are off the list because they are all manual tranny. If the car is "chipped", lowered, clear cornered or "riced', it is not for me.

My first choice would be a car that someone else has already done everything, including steering rack, replaced the heater blower, bomb and fuel pump because it's just a matter of time before all will need doing. On the other hand, a if the basics are good, I can have all the other stuff done. (I'm getting too old to do it myself.

A very important point is any car in really nice shape with all the maintenence stuff done, please have complete set of documentation.


I'll consider a 90 through 94 V8 also, but it's got to be nice.
