Wanted: TT Front caliper carriers (8N0 615 125)
I want to up-grade my front brakes to accommodate A8 rotors, so I'll need a pair of these caliper carriers.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I bought my carriers from ECS tuning
here is a link to the ones you are looking for, looks like it was superseded to 1J0615125A

I'm starting to think the kit from ECS is the way to go . . .
OE Big Brake Kit - Plain Rotors
Shokan want $185 for a pair of carriers, and Force 5 want $200 for a pair. My dealer wants $200 . . . each!
I'm just wondering if ECS include new slide pins and protective pin boots in the kit.

they do, put in your vehicle in ECS and select OE BBK. When I bundled my rotors with the carriers it saved me a ton

Do you have a recommendation for pads?

I just went with OE pads and zimmerman rotors with the OE BBK, I did both from and rear.

I'm going to go with the . . .
. . . slotted rotors . . .
OE Big Brake Kit - Slotted Geomet Coated Rotors
. . . but not the cross-drilled. A little cooling will be fine, but I don't want to give up too much of the swept area.
The way they have it priced, the kit with the slotted rotors and included shipping is about $8 more than the kit with the plain rotors and add-on shipping.

I am running 312mm rotors in the front as well on my 1.8t B6, but they were stock for the 3.0 B6. I was a noticeable difference going from 288mm to 312mm rotors. I also upgraded my rears to 255mm rotors from the 3.0 B6.
I think that upgrade is a must when getting bigger wheels, my car would have looked funny with 18's and tiny brakes
