Default TIP for KO4

Unfortunately my B5 S4 stock turbos **** the can after only owning the car for 6 months!!! Dont buy from YBH Audi in Newton Square, PA!!!

Fortunately this gives me an excuse to upgrade the turbos but didnt realize at first i would need different inlet pipes. Ive been scowering the forums for the right, affordable but not p.o.s. TIP's.

Looks like im going with the Borg Warner Ko4's and the site im going through wants to sell me $600 inlet pipes. Needless to say thats not happening and ko4s arent happening if i cant find more affordable pipes.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What's wrong with your current TIP's?

And yes YBH for me was a bad experience. I had called them to order a new key and fob. They told me that since the key was being cut and ordered for my immo ID, I would not have to tow the car there. Well I placed the order for the key,and a week later they called and told me it had arrived and that I still had to bring in the car. So now I had to find a way to tow the car there and pay more money to have them code the key to the car. The parts dept. and service dept had poor customer service and were quite rude on the phone and in person. Not to mention their parking lot is very tight and I towed the car in there and having to maneuver around the cars with the trailer.

The stock inlet pipes don't fit Ko4 turbos. There too small on a 2.7. I wound up buying the new pipes set from 034 Motorsport and ko4's from carpartswarehouse. Patiently waiting for the reassembly. I'll be posting pics of the whole build. YBH got me good and aren't taking any responsibility. Lesson learned.
